Destinations International Kicks Off Registration For 2025 Annual Convention in Chicago: Know More

Destinations International, the premier global association for destination organizations and convention and visitors bureaus, is thrilled to open registrations for its flagship event, the DI Annual Convention. This key industry event will be held from July 9-11, 2025, in Chicago, IL, USA. It provides a vital platform for professionals in destination marketing and management to network, share knowledge, and explore the latest trends.

The convention’s program includes:

• Sessions addressing the critical challenges within the sector
• Chances to connect with colleagues and key figures in the industry

Early Registration Discounts
After a full-house event last year, Destinations International advises attendees to register promptly to benefit from early bird discounts available until April 3. This event is the highlight of the year for those in the industry.

Pre-Convention Workshops
The convention also offers optional workshops on the opening day. Registration for these is separate.

• Destinations International’s Tools Symposium, July 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at US$249. Attendees will learn about essential tools like the Event Impact Calculator and others, with practical demonstrations from Tourism Economics experts.
• Expedia Group Media Solutions Session, July 9 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., free for convention attendees but limited in space. This session will dive into advanced travel marketing strategies and the latest trends.
• Civitas Funding Forum, July 9 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., at US$199 for members and US$299 for non-members. This forum will address critical financial strategies for destinations navigating a challenging economic landscape.

Additional Chicago Events
In conjunction with the Annual Convention, other events include the Visitor Services Summit on July 9 and Summer CDME Courses from July 12-15, 2025. These sessions are designed to enhance skills in destination management, advocacy, and leadership.
